Ingredients

  • Daal &quantity mentioned here(you can change as per your choice)
  • 1-2 tspchana daal
  • 1-2 tsptoor daal
  • 1-2 tspmoong daal (without chilka)
  • 1-2 tspmoong daal (with chilka)
  • 1 tspurad daal (split one)
  • 1 tspblack urad daal (whole)
  • 1 tspblack chana
  • 1 tspmoong (whole)
  • 1 tspbrown moong
  • 1 tspwhole masoor daal
  • 1 tsprice
  • 1 tspsonf
  • 1 tspjeera
  • 1Small pc of ginger
  • 4-5black pepper
  • 1 pinchhung(optional)
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1onion chopped
  • Handfulcoriander leaves
  • As required Green chillies
  • 1-2 tspBesan (only if your daal batter iske watery)
  • As required Oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Take big bowl and wash kind of daal 4-5 times and soak it for 5-6 hours. (You can take any dal of your choice and quantity also you can change as you want).

    After 5-6 hours, transfer soaked daal to strainer to remove to remove water completely.

  3. 3

    Once water is removed take grinder add these daal, green chilli, ginger, black pepper, sonf & jeera and grind them coarsely. (Do not add water)

  4. 4

    Now transfer to a bowl, add chopped onions, coriander leaves, salt & pinch of hing. Mix it very well. (If you feel it's watery then add 1tsp besan for binding else not required)

  5. 5

    Heat the oil, and fry them on medium flame. Serve with chutney and green chilli. Enjoy your rainy season evening snacks!!!

    Note -
    1. Before grinding make sure water is filtered completely.
    2. While grinding don't add water.
