An authentic Bengali fish recipe

Wash the fish then marinate it with salt and turmeric powder.

Make the thick paste of mustard powders and poppy seed paste, then place that raw fish in a bowl which has proper lid. Pour the paste and grated coconut along with sliced green chillies and ample of mustard oil on the fish, mix well.

Cover the lid and put the bowl in a big vessel which is filled with water to steam the fish and cover for 35 mins.

After 35mins open the lid drizzle some mustard oil and serve hot with basmati rice
