Heat water in a pan. Add baking soda and turmeric powder when it starts to simmer.

Then, add maize flour and fold well. Turn off the flame and keep it aside for about 12 minutes.

Once It has cooled down partially, add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper, and knead a soft dough(crackfree).

Take small portion of a dough between two plastic sheets and roll it into a thin tortilla.
Tip- Apply some oil on plastic sheets before you start rolling.
Tip- Use papad maker, if available. - 5
Then, cut it into triangular pieces. Prick them with a fork and deep fry.

Serve it with cheese sauce, salsa and sour cream.
