This is a very healthy and a simple Mutton Stew to put it in straight words. Peela refers to the Yellow colour in Urdu. And this Peela Shorba is the most sought after simple and easy comfort food in times of Cold and Flu in my maternal home to date. It was and is still made by my mother everytime we fall sick. The only difference now being that it's made for her grand children as well. Ammi refers to my mom and I would love to dedicate this recipe to her. This Stew gives an instant energy after you recover from a bad cold and fever and do not feel like eating at all. This Stew along with simple homemade Rotis will definitely make you happy and feel better and energetic. As a matter of fact, this can be made and relished on any day for the whole family. It's a perfect one and is always my go to dish whenever I prefer something simple and that which is lighter on tummy also.
Happy Cooking Everyone!

Nothing more! Nothing less! That's it. It's as simple as that. This Peela Shorba is on the thinner side only. It's not thick nor semi thick. Enjoy it with Rotis all broken into pieces and added to it. See to it that it's nicely dipped in the bowl and eaten. Happy Eating!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
