Soak urad for minimum 8 hours or overnight.

Next morning grind it. Grind it with little water. Add chopped onion, pepper, chopped curry leaves, chopped green chillies.

Mix it properly. Take kadai for fry. Add oil and let it hot. Take urad dal mava with wet hand. Make a hole in between. Put it in oil. Fry on medium heat.

Take scrapped coconut, add dry red chillies, garlic, onion, jeera, curd and salt. Grind it properly. Take coconut oil, add urad dal, mustard, curry leaves, asafoetida. Season with chutney.

Serve hot Vada with chutney or tea.
