Ingredients

1 jar
  • 1 cupmixed cherry tomatoes (about 150 grams)
  • 1anchovy
  • 1 teaspoonrinsed capers
  • Garlic
  • Green onion
  • 1 tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
  • 2 ozcanned tuna (about 60 grams)
  • Salt
  • Parsley
  • 5black olives
  • 3 tablespoonstomato pulp

Steps

    Pour the olive oil and green onion into a 2-cup (500 ml) Weck jar and microwave uncovered for 90 seconds at 750 watts to sauté.

    Add the cherry tomatoes, then layer in the tuna, olives, capers, more tuna, tomato pulp, salt, and parsley.

    Stir everything together with a spoon.

    Wipe the rim of the jar clean, then seal it with the gasket, 4 clamps, and the lid.

    Microwave for 5 and a half minutes at 750 watts, then let it rest for 20 minutes. During this time, it will finish cooking and create a vacuum seal, allowing you to store the Tuna Ragù in the fridge for up to 15 days.

    To serve, just remove the clamps and microwave the jar for 2 to 3 minutes at 750 watts to enjoy its full aroma and flavor as a pasta sauce.
