Firstly in a pressure cooker heat ghee and saute cinnamon and cardamon pods till it turn aromatic.

Now add dalia and roast on low flame.

Further add hot water and mix well. Cover and pressure cook for 5 whistles.

Open the cooker and add jaggery.

Cook for 5 minutes until the jaggery thickens slightly.

Now in a small kadai heat 1 tbsp of ghee and add cashew, almonds and raisins.

Roast until turn brown. Add cardamon powder. Mix well.

Finally enjoy fada lapsi garnished with chopped nuts.
