Ingredients

8-10 mins
10 people
  • 1/2 cupmilk powder
  • 1/4 cupicing sugar
  • 1/4 cupwarm water
  • 1 tspbutter (For milkmaid)
  • 1 litre milk (For kulfi)
  • 6 tbspsugar
  • 1 tbspcornflour
  • 2 tbspmilk powder
  • 1 tspelachi powder
  • 1 tsp kesar
  • 1/2crushed almonds and cashew
  • 10-12malai peda

Steps

8-10 mins
  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients and blend or whisk it nicely for 5 mins to till it turns to a smooth thick texture.
    Make sure that there are no lumps Milkmaid is ready.

  2. 2

    Take one cup cold milk, keep the remaining milk for boiling.
    Now add sugar kesar elaichi powder to the boiling milk and let it boil on low flame for about 12-15 mins.

  3. 3

    Now add cornflour milk powder in one cup cold milk and mix it well.

  4. 4

    Make sure that there are no lumps.
    Add the cornflour milk to the boiling milk and keep stirring continuously to avoid burning at the base.

  5. 5

    Keep stirring and keep scrapping the sides to get a good taste of kulfi.

  6. 6

    Keep boiling on low flame till you get a thick pouring consistency.

  7. 7

    Now add milkmaid and let it boil for 3-5 mins.
    Off the flame add the curshed dry fruits and let it cool for 3-4 mins.

  8. 8

    Now crush the pedas and add the kulfi mixture and mix it well till pedas are well mixed with the kulfi mixture.

  9. 9

    Let it cool completely at room temperature.
    Pour the mixture in a setting dish, kulfi moulds or matkas as per your choice

  10. 10

    Sprinkle some chopped dry fruits and freeze it for 7-8 hours or till it is set.
    Enjoy chilled.
