A quick, simple, delicious, and easy-to-make option. I'm a fan of savory pies, especially vegetable ones—they're a great alternative.

A quick, simple, delicious, and easy-to-make option. I'm a fan of savory pies, especially vegetable ones—they're a great alternative.
Steps
- 1
To make the crust, simply mix all the ingredients together to form a dough ball. It usually doesn't stick to your hands or the counter. Cover with a cloth and let rest for 15 minutes.
- 2
For the filling, boil the Swiss chard and roughly chop it. Finely chop the bell pepper and onion. Sauté in olive oil.
- 3
Mix the onion, bell pepper, Swiss chard, eggs, and cream cheese. Season well. Set aside.
- 4
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin (makes 2 crusts) and line a 9-inch (23 cm) pie pan. Prick the crust with a fork and bake at 375°F (190°C) for a pre-bake.
- 5
Add the filling, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and bake until golden brown.
