Whole wheat margarita pizza

1. In a mixing bowl, add yeast and warm water. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy. Do not use hot water, as it will kill the yeast and your dough won’t rise properly!

2. Add olive oil, salt, and sugar into the yeast mixture, and mix.

3. Slowly add the flour, and mix until a dough ball forms. If needed, transfer to a floured surface and knead by hand until the ball forms.

4. Grease another mixing bowl with a little oil, and add the dough ball into it. Brush the ball with a little more oil, then cover the bowl and set aside in a warm area for about 1 hour. The dough should double in size!

5. When ready, preheat the oven to 450F. Cut the dough in half, and transfer both balls to a floured surface, then gently knead. Each ball should roll out into approximately a 9-inch round.

6. Top with tomato sauce and tomato, onion. mozzarella cheese

7. Transfer pizzas to the oven, and bake for 12-15 minutes until the dough is golden brown.

8. When ready, top with a little more chili flakes, or whatever else you’the like!
