Ingredients

  • 400 grams jackfruit chopped
  • 2 tomato paste
  • As requiredFried Onion, Ginger and Garlic Paste
  • to taste Salt
  • 4-5 tbsp mustard oil
  • As requiredShredded oil for frying
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powde
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powde
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cinnamon
  • 1 large bay leaves,

    Put turmeric powder and salt in jackfruit and mix well and keep 15 minutes. Place the pan in the gas. Add plain oil to the pan. And fry the jackfruit until it becomes light brown.

    Add mustard oil to the second pan. Add cumin, cinnamon, bay leaves, cardamom to the oil. Then add tomato paste. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder to the paste. And cook 3-4 minutes.

    Add onion paste after 4 minutes. Cook the paste 5-6 minutes, add fried jackfruit after 4 minutes. Mix well and cook 1-2 minutes. Add 1/2 glass of water after 2 minutes. Allow to cook for 2 minutes or more.

    Add garam masala after 2 minutes. And turn off the gas. Serve hot with rice or roti.
