First soak rice and urad dal for 4-5 hours. Then crush it in a mixer. Do not make a very smooth paste. Now add curd and Fenugreek seeds and soda bicarb and ferment again for 5-7 hours.

Now after fermentation, add salt, ginger, chilli paste and stir well. Batter is ready.

Now pour water in the steamer and heat it. Grease oil to a plate and preheat. Now pour a batter on preheated plate. Sprinkle red chilli powder and sesame seeds.

Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Now take off the plate and let it cool down. Then cut into slice.

Now add mustard seeds splutter on it. Add coriander. Now serve hot in a plate and serve with green chutney.
