Ingredients

1 hr 30min
2-3 people
  1. 4-5medium sized potato
  2. 1 tspred chill power
  3. 1 tspmango powder (amchur)
  4. 1 tspcumin powder
  5. 1/4 cupcoriander leave
  6. 1 tspcoriander powder
  7. As required Oil for shallow fry
  8. Ingredients to make aloo tikki chaat:
  9. 1 cupcurd
  10. 1/4 cupgreen mint chutney
  11. 1/4 cupkhatti mithi chutney
  12. 2 tspbhujiya sev
  13. 1 pinchred chilli powder
  14. 1 pinchcumin powder
  15. As required Beet root for garnish
  16. As required Radish for garnish
  17. As required Carrot for garnish

    To prepare aloo tikki, boil the potato properly.

  2. 2

    Peel and great them. Cool them on normal temperature.

  3. 3

    Then keep them in the fridge until required.

  4. 4

    Add red chilli powder, mango powder, cumin powder, chopped coriander leaves. Now mix well all the ingredients.

  5. 5

    Now add required bread crumbs. With this you can make tikki perfectly.

    How to make aloo tikki

  7. 7

    To sha to shape the aloo tikki, take a small portion of potato mixture in between your palms. Roll it and flatten it using fingers. If the potato mixture seems sticky, Moisture your fingers with the teaspoon of oil.

    Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame.

  9. 9

    Shallow fry the potato tikki over low-medium flame. While shallow frying keep gently pressing the tikki to evenly cook from all sides.

    Do not flip tikki again and again. When first side of tikki turns crisp then flip and cook other side. After cooked transfer it on tissue or sieve.

    How to make aloo tikki chat

    Whisk curd properly to make smooth consistency. Add a milk or water required to get the desired consistency.

    To serve aloo tikki chaat, arrange tikki in a plate, add a whisked curd, tsp of each chutney and sprinkle all spices as per your taste.

    Now sprinkle bhujia sev. Garnish it with carrot, redish and beet root. Now serve it immediately.
