Heat oil, add cumin seeds. Let them splutter. Add onion and cook till dark brown.

Drain water from the moong dal. Add spices to onion and cook for 2mins. Add moong dal and 1/2cup of water. Cook till water is dried and dal is properly cooked. It should be soft but don't over cook else it will become mushy. Turn off the gas snd cool the mixture.Your stuffing is ready.

Now take a small portion of dough, roll it and place 2tblspn of moong dal stuffing in the center

Close the paratha, covering the stuffing from all sides, al roll it again to aregular sized paratha.

Heat tawa, and place the paratha. Using, ghee or oil cook the paratha from both the sides till golden brown.

Serve hot with sauce, chutney, ghee or butter.
