Ingredients

5-6 servings
  • 100 gramseedless tamarind
  • 50 gramJaggery
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsphing/asafoetida
  • 1/2 tspblack salt
  • 2 tsp raisins
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Take seedless tamarind.
    Soak the tamarind in 2 cups water for two hours.

    Mash it with hands and strain it through strainer. Add tamarind in a pan.cook for 10-12 minutes add all ingredients and keep stirring at regular intervals.

  3. 3

    Remove and store in airtight containers and use as when required. You can store it one month.
