Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting

Mix milk, sugar, vanilla essence and oil in a bowl and keep aside

In s separate bowl, seive maida, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon powder

Combine the wet and dry ingredients together and mix so that there are no lumps

Add in the grated carrot and mix well
- 5
Add this batter to a greased cake mold and place on a stand in a pan which has been preheated for around 10 mins

Cook for an hour and then switch off flame and remove from mold
- 7
To make the frosting, add paneer, vanilla essence, sugar and butter to a blender and blend to a smooth paste and then spread on the cake. Top with nuts of your choice.
