Ingredients

15 minutes
2-3 servings
  1. 1large onion chopped
  2. 1large tomato chopped
  3. 6green chillies
  4. 3large or 6 small cloves of garlic
  5. 1 handfulcoriander leaves chopped
  6. 1 tbspoil
  7. For Tempering (tadka):
  8. 1/2 tspmustard
  9. 1/2 tspurad dal (optional)
  10. 1/2 tsphing
  11. 1 tbspoil
  12. Fewcurry leaves
  13. to tasteSalt

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil and fry onions and garlic till light golden.

    Add green chillies and fry further for a minute. You can increase or decrease chillies as per your taste. Here we get chillies which are not very hot so I have to add a lot.

    Add tomatoes and salt and fry till mushy. Add chopped coriander leaves and saute for a few seconds. Once they start shrinking, switch off flame and let it cool. Grind to a smooth paste and transfer to a bowl.

    Heat oil and fry all items under tadka and pour on top. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
