  • 1 poundbeef slices
  • 3 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1/2 cupquinoa rice
  • 1/2 cupcauliflower rice (for non-keto, use 1 cup white rice instead of quinoa and cauliflower rice)
  • Honey Sauce
  • 1 tablespoonmaple syrup (for non-keto, use honey)
  • 1 tablespoonwater
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 3 clovesgarlic (minced)
  • 1/2onion (minced)
  • 1/8 teaspoonpsyllium husk powder (for non-keto, use 1/2 teaspoon corn starch)
  • Sauce
  • 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonwater
  • 2 teaspoonsblack pepper
  • 1 teaspoonsugar (keto: lakanto/erythritol)
  • 1/8 teaspoonpsyllium husk powder (non-keto: corn starch 1/2 teaspoon)

Steps

50-60 minutes
  1. 1

    In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir-fry the cauliflower rice for about five minutes, then combine with the cooked quinoa rice in a bowl.

    For the honey sauce: Mix water and maple syrup. In a skillet, add a little oil, minced garlic, and onion. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes, then add the honey water, salt, and psyllium husk powder. Mix well and set aside.

    Combine the sauce ingredients. In a cast iron skillet, melt the remaining butter. Place the rice in the center, arrange the beef slices around it, and pour both the honey sauce and the sauce over the top.
