The name itself speaks volumes about this evergreen Salad loved by most of us. It is primarily made up of shredded Cabbage and Carrot and keeps well for 2-3 in the refrigerator and is best enjoyed chilled. It is mostly enjoyed with any of the fried Chicken dishes, the Barbeques, the Burgers and the Kebabs. I love to have this practically with any dish whatsoever. It has such a unique crunchy texture that is so very awesome. This creamy dressing can be made with the ingredients that you have in your pantry and are readily available.
I have tried it in KFC style with the use of Milk and Buttermilk as well as the other regular ingredients this time and it was awesome. Red Onions or even Spring Onion Greens can be used in sparing amounts as well but can be enjoyed even without them. I didn't add either this time.
It can be enjoyed even on it's own without any accompaniments whatsoever. Tastes super yummy.

Enjoy No Cooking with Zeen!

Steps

No Cook Recipe
  1. 1

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl except the last two. Prepare the dressing by mixing in the last two ingredients that are milk and buttermilk. Whisk it well and add to the veggies.

  2. 2

Always make it much prior for flavours to infuse well so that a creamy and a perfect coleslaw salad is just ready to be served to your families and guests. Yum!

  3. 3

Mix well and refrigerate until use. It is best served chilled. Enjoy!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
