Ingredients

  • Cooked white rice 1 cup - blend into paste
  • 1/2 cupSugar
  • 1/4 cupGhee
  • 1 pinchSalt
  • Few drops lemon juice
  • Roasted cahew nuts
  • Orange/yellow color few drops - food coloring (optional)

Steps

    Blend cooked rice into a thick smooth paste. Keep aside

  2. 2

    Add ghee in non stick pan. Roast cashew nut. Keep aside.

  3. 3

    Add rice paste in the same pan. Keep stirring for 5 minutes. Add color. Add ghee. Add sugar. Add lemon juice. Keep stirring untill the consistency change into a semi transparent and thicker. Add cashew. Pour into mold or flat plate. Let it cool completely before cutting/serving.
