Homemade subs
Quick easy lunch or dinner idea.
Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 425 toast the buns after applying butter and garlic seasoning to the top of the buns. Typically takes 5 to 10 minutes to toast bread.
- 2
Apply mayonnaise to both sides of the bun. Layer the meats of choice and cheese. I add tomatoes, lettuce, onion and sliced pickles to my hoagie.
- 3
Season with salt and pepper and oregano. I buy this seasoning oil from the store that is really good.
- 4
Serve with chips or potato salad or macaroni salad.
