Chapati for Indian Curry Chapati for Indian Curry
We love these with homemade curry. They are so simple to make, just knead the dough and fry, that it's a mystery how they always turn out so well. These always turn out nice and crispy. You're really suppose to use whole wheat flour but I can't get it around here (I live in the country, so I use white flour. Recipe by patisier cookpad.japan -

KulKuls KulKuls
#deepfriedKulkuls are Goan snacks. Kulkuls are made in India at Christmas time. Kulkuls are often called Kidyo in the Konkani language, which means worms. To make the beautifully shaped, crisp, deep-fried snack, use the tines of a fork or comb to roll the dough and create indentations that are similar to the traditional way that most Goan families make. Simple Bagels Simple Bagels
I wanted to use all purpose flour to make bagels for sandwiches. I put this recipe together to use up some whole wheat flour and rye. It's also a reminder for me.I've adjusted the amount of water so that the dough is easy to knead. Hence, I don't think you'll have much trouble kneading it.You could either use fine or coarsely ground whole wheat and rye. Also adjust the time for rising to your preference.
