Steps

Take all the ingredients and mix well to prepare the batter.

Take a steamer or a kadhai and fill it with approx 2-3cups of water and heat it over medium flame.

Grease thalis or small plate with white oil and pour the batter.

Steam it for 10-12 mins. Check it with a skewer or a stick. If it comes clean, then its ready.

For tempering, heat a pan add oil, mustard seeds, green chillies slited, vinegar, sugar, salt and water. Stir it nicely.

Pour the tempering over the dhoklas. Keep it for 10mins.

Cut into pieces and serve it with green chutney or tamarind chutney.
