Ingredients

as per portion
unlimited
  • Mashed matoke
  • Sour milk as per matoke amount, to just soften it a bit
  • Yeast as per dough amount
  • Wheat flour to just stiffen matoke a bit
  • Cumin
  • Curry powder
  • Vegetable oil
  • To tastesugar and salt

Steps

as per portion
  1. 1

    Soften your matoke a little bit with the sour milk.

  2. 2

    Mix in all the other ingredients and leave to rise, about an hour.

  3. 3

    Remix and add flour to make sure it's not too soft but also not hard.

  4. 4

    Make into your desired shape and shallow fry till cooked.
