Ingredients

  • 200 gmsShort grain rice
  • 250 gmsSpinach
  • 100 gmsParmesan Cheese
  • 100 gmsProcessed Cheese
  • 300 mlMilk
  • 10 gmsRefined Flour
  • 10 gmsButter
  • 1 pcOnion
  • 2 pcsClove
  • 1 pcBay leaf
  • 1 pcNutmeg
  • 200 gmsBread Crumbs
  • to tasteSalt
  • 5 gmsFreshly crushed Pepper
  • As neededOil - for frying
  • As requiredParsley -for Garnish
  • as required Bell peppers - for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil rice, keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Blanch spinach and chop it finely.

  3. 3

    Mix it with half of parmesan and processed Cheese and make small dumplings.

  4. 4

    Now prepare white sauce (bechamel) with milk, white roux, and remaining cheese.

  5. 5

    Then mix white sauce with boiled rice, add seasoning and make round medium sized dumplings.

  6. 6

    Stuff dumplings with spinch cheese balls at the centre.

  7. 7

    Crumb rice dumplings with bread crumbs

  8. 8

    Deep fry it in hot oil until golden brown.

  9. 9

    Serve it hot garnished with parsley and bell peppers.
