Perfect as a side dish for a hearty family meal, this simple and healthy gratin will delight your guests (and you too!)

Thinly slice the sweet potato, potatoes, and carrots, and finely chop the onion.

Add the olive oil and spices to your vegetable mixture.

Season the Greek yogurt or sour cream with your choice of spices (salt, pepper, nutmeg, etc.).

Spread a little of the yogurt or sour cream in the bottom of your baking dish, then add half of the sweet potato, potato, and carrot mixture, and cover with the remaining yogurt or sour cream.

Top with the rest of the potato, sweet potato, and carrot mixture, then bake at 400°F (200°C) for 40 minutes (check for doneness depending on your oven). Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for another 10 minutes. Serve hot!
