Eggplant Fritters

Wash and cut eggplant in long thin slices and keep aside with sprinkle a pinch of salt for 5 minutes.

In a bowl take gram flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.

Add water and whisk with wired whisker to make a thick and lump free batter.

Dip eggplant slices in batter and put in hot oil.

Fry these fritters till golden and crisp.

Serve hot eggplant pakode with tomato sauce.
