Add 2 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water and place on stove to make sugar syrup

Meanwhile grind the soaked urad dal in a blender into a smooth paste. Now add 1 tbsp of rice flour and a pinch of baking soda to it and little saffron colour. Whisk well so that it traps air.check by droping a small ball in water if it floats means your batter is ready to fry..

Note if you feel batter is little thick adjust by adding little water

At the same time check the sugar syrup if it has started boiling add cardomom powder and littlr saffron colour. Add rose essence its optional and put the stove off

Heat the oil in the pan and squeeze the batter from cone or sauce bottle into jalebi shape or flower shape

Once it cooked place the hot jalebis into sugar syrup till the next batch gets ready

Your jangri is ready
