Soak the chala dal in water for 8 hours.

Drain out the water and clean it.

Make a paste of it.

Make another paste of green chilli, ginger, anise,hing.

Take 2tbsp white oil in a pan and heat it.

Add black cumin and dal- paste.

Add another paste and mix it well.

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sugar and salt to it.

Now the stuffing is ready.

Take maida, sugar, salt and white oil,water in a bowl and knead it.

Make small sized dough from it and stuff it.

Roll it in round shape.

Take adequate amount of oil in a kadai.

Keep the puries in a container. Now it is ready to serve with any kind of curry.
