Steps

Slit egg plants long and wash it thoroughly with salted water and drain.

In a pan add oil, once oil is hot add slited egg plants and saute for 2-3 mins on medium flame.

Now add ginger garlic paste, salt, jeera powder and turmeric and saute for 2 mins closing the lid.

Finally add pepper powder and cook for a min. No need to add any water but cook only on medium flame.
