Ingredients

4 servings
  • 250 gmarbi/ Taro roots
  • 2big potatoes
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 2 teaspooncumin powder
  • as neededOil for frying
  • as neededSev for garnish
  • Green Chutney
  • 1 cupcoriander leaves
  • 4green chillies
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspginger
  • 2 tsptamarind
  • 1 tspjaggery

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Soak tamarind in water and keep aside.

  2. 2

    Pressure cook arbi and potato adding some salt for 2 whistles. strain water and keep aside

    In a blender add all chutney ingredients and grind add tamarind water. Keep aside

    Peel arbi and potato and cut in to small pieces, it has to be deep fried so cut accordingly

    Heat oil in pan and fry arbi till golden first followed by potato remove in a mixing bowl

    Add dry spices and mix nicely.

    To serve put arbi potato mixture, pour a spoonful of chutney on top, sprinkle chopped coriander and some sev Enjoy
