Matar makhana curry

Heat oil in pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, cinnamon and bay leaves followed by chopped onions.saute for few minutes then add ginger garlic and green chillies.

Now add salt and dry spices mix well then add chopped tomatoes and saute it.Add some water then cook for 2 whistles. Allow to release pressure then grind it to puree.

Add makhana and matar to the prepared puree and saute it then add water and again pressure cook for 1 whistle.

The delicious matar makhana curry is ready. Enjoy with hot rice or chapatis.
