Hyderabadi Aaloo Gosht Sojni Ki Phalli

Hyderabadi Aaloo Gosht has been given an innovative twist by me with the addition of Drumsticks. This is a simple everyday Curry made with Potatoes and Drumsticks. But I have added Mutton Bone-in also to enhance the flavour. This is usually made in both the ways. Vegetarian as well Non-Veg version. Either Aaloo Phalli or Phalli Gosht. Both are good in their own ways. Easily made with a few ingredients, this one is relished with Rice and Khatti Daal. This is a simple dish and loved by many. Sojni ki Phalli as Drumsticks are called in Hyderabad, is a favourite in my family. But here for a change, i have used all 3 of them in one single Curry. Therefore i make it a point to serve it once in every two Weeks. You will definitely love to have this for a change and iam sure you will relish it. Happy Cooking Everyone!

Steps
- 1
Heat Oil in a Pressure Cooker. Saute Onions until light brown and done with all the spices added. Also add Mutton Bone-in, Green Chillies and saute for about 5 minutes.
- 2
Add a cup of water and pressure cook for 8-10 whistles or accordingly. After done, let the steam settle down before opening the lid of the Pressure Cooker.
- 3
Now add Potatoes and Drumsticks along with water if required. Cut each Drumstick into 3-4 pieces depending upon the size. Pressure cook this again for 3 whistles. Do not cook more.
- 4
Open the lid and adjust Salt. Also adjust water accordingly. It's usually thick in consistency but not too dry also. There is gravy for sure. Serve hot with Rice and Hyderabadi Khatti Daal. A perfect meal in all possibilities. Enjoy!
