Marinated Olives

My fiancée bought some buck's fizz and orange flavoured olives to try out and neither of us liked the flavour so instead of throwing a whole jar of olives in the bin I cleaned them up by soaking the olives in cold water for multiple days and changing the water daily until they were just plain old olives again.

Steps
- 1
Gently heat the olive oil over low heat, add all the ingredients expect for the olives. Do not let the garlic burn or brown.
- 2
Allow to cool to warm or room temperature then mix in the olives and transfer to a jar. Cover with lid and store at room temperature.
- 3
Note: I did not measure any of the ingredients out, I added to my taste, I did have to add a little bit more of everything when the olives were in the jar a day later as they were slightly bland for us.
