Chop onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic

Pour oil in a frying pan

Put mustard seeds and urad dall

Then add curry leaves and onions.

Saute it well

Then add tomatoes, ginger, garlic, salt, red chilli and tamarind

Fry all these ingredients for five minutes

Finally add coconut and stir for a minute. Turn off the flame

Transfer this to a mixer jar and grind it well with required water

Tomato chutney is ready to be served
