Chunky Banana Yogurt Sundae

I was chosen as a cooking tester for Mitsuya Cider, so I came up with a drink recipe that is perfect for a snack.

Use ripened bananas. In the summertime, you can slice defrosted bananas.
For me, the sweetness of the cider and bananas is sufficient, but if you prefer more sweetness, add honey or any other sweetener of your choice. Recipe by Aitsuna.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 150 mlMitsuya cider (soda)
  2. 2 tbspPlain yogurt
  3. 1it's okay without this, but use 2 to 3 drops if you have it. Vanilla essence
  4. 2to 3 drops Vanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mash the banana with a potato masher or the back of a fork. (I use a bowl, but you could also do this step in the cup that you'll be serving it in to save time.)

  2. 2

Add the cider and yogurt, and vanilla essence to taste, thoroughly stir with a whisk, and it's done.

  3. 3

I recommend using chilled bananas. Here's "A-jinchan"'s recipe to preserve bananas: https://cookpad.wasmer.app/en/recipes/168692-how-to-keep-bananas
