Roast the sesame seeds on low to medium flame for about 7 to 10 minutes. Keep stirring in between.

Now add 1 tsp ghee n add jaggery. Let it melt. Keep stirring n break the lumps. Make it smooth.

When you see small bubbles rise in the syrup, stir continuously until the color changes to a slightly golden brown.

Check the syrup is cooked or not. Drop some syrup in cold water n take on fingers. It should break not stretch.

Now add sesame seeds and mix well.

Grease any surface with ghee, take out the mixture on it. and spread well. Roll thin block with rolling pin. Mark your desired shape when it's warm n let it cooled down.

Then separate each piece and enjoy this winter special chikki.
