2 1/2 tbspMiso (I use a cheap miso with dashi from Marukome)
50 mlWater (plus dashi stock granules if the miso doesn't have dashi in it)
1 1/2 tbspSugar
1 1/2 tbspMirin
1Ground sesame seeds

Bring the mirin to a boil in a frying pan. Add the miso, sugar, and dashi stock or water, and simmer over low heat until thickened. Throw in the ground sesame seeds and that's it.
