I was a chosen as a cooking tester for Takara brand cooking sake. I came up with a recipe which would be tasty even with cheap chicken breast.

Pierce both sides of the meat with a fork, then cut into bite-sized pieces.

Put the chicken from step 1 and the marinade ingredients marked ● in a bowl. Rub the chicken with the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.

Coat a heated frying pan with oil, and fry the chicken until both sides are browned. Then drizzle in the sake, cover with a lid, and steam.

Season with the ingredients marked ○. Once it starts to glaze, add the mayonnaise, and then sprinkle in some green onions and sesame seeds to finish.
