Ingredients

  • 1 cuphalf done gobindo bhog rice
  • 1/2 cupMatar
  • 1Chopped onion - medium
  • 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  • 2Green cardamom
  • 1black cardamom,
  • 2Cloves
  • 3Whole black pepper
  • 1 inchCinnamon stick
  • 1Bay leaf
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1Star anise
  • 2 tbspClarified butter / ghee
  • to tasteSalt -
  • 2 tbspKewra water
  • 1/4 tspSaffron food color

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat clarified butter in a pan and deep fry the onion and take off.

    Now again heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan add ginger garlic paste and saute for few mins

    Add whole garam masala to crackle.
    Now add matar and and saute for 4 - 5 mins. add coriander powder,turmeric ppowder and mix well

    Add rice and salt and and mix well

    Kewra water mix into the saffron food color and add it
    Garnish with fried onion and coriander leaves and serve hot.
