Ingredients

30 to 45 mins
10 pieces
  • 2 cupsWheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Besan/ gram flour
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 1 1/2 cup methi( fenugreek ( leaves
  • Handfulcoriander leaves
  • 2-3green chillies
  • 1 teaspoonkashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonHaldi/ turmeric powder
  • pinchAjwain) Carom seeds
  • 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  • 1 Teaspoongaram masala
  • 1/2 teaspoonCumin/ jeera powder
  • as neededWarm Water to knead the dough
  • as neededOil or ghee

Steps

30 to 45 mins
  1. 1

    Take wheat flour, besan and yoghurt.

    Add methi leaves and all the masalas. Mix well. Knead the dough with warm water. Keep the dough aside for 15 to 20 mins.

    Now roll the theplas and put on tawa. Flip the side. Apply ghee or oil and roast it well.

    Serve hot with Aachar and tea.
