Simple Foolproof Creamy Omurice

I thought if I didn't have the chicken and onions for chicken rice, then I didn't need to cook the rice. That's how I came up with this recipe.
Using a small frying pan makes a thicker omelet, which is creamier.
You can add ham or corn to the ketchup rice if you like.
If you use soft rice it becomes sticky, so try to use firm rice. Recipe by Sayasun

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add the ketchup rice ingredients to a bowl and mix together. (If using cold rice, warm it up in the microwave before use.)
- 2
Place Step 1 in your serving dish. (In place of stir-frying the ketchup rice, the margarine serves as the oil content and the flavoring, so be sure to add it.
- 3
Mix the eggs ingredients together. Heat up a small frying pan on medium heat and add the cooking margarine.
- 4
Pour in the egg mixture all at once. Once the eggs start to bubble, use chopsticks to stir until the eggs are soft-set. Form into the shape.
- 5
Once the eggs have soft-set to your liking, slide them on top of the ketchup rice from Step 2 using a wooden spatula, etc. Decorate with ketchup and parsley if you have any.
- 6
For the final touch, I recommend topping with instant hashed beef or beef stew for a restaurant-like flavor. Of course using something handmade also works.

I came up with this recipe for people like me, who can never manage to roll the rice up neatly in the omelette when making omurice. There's no need to melt the butter before using. When you don't have milk, just substitute with mayonnaise. If you melt the butter in the pan before cooking, it's more likely that your eggs will burn. While you can make this using margarine and mayonnaise (as indicated in the ingredients list), they can't hold a candle to butter and milk.Make sure to use salt and pepper.Season with course ground black pepper for a sophisticated taste. Easy Omurice - Fluffy Filling Wrapped in Egg Easy Omurice - Fluffy Filling Wrapped in Egg
While creamy omurice is good, my husband prefers the original omrice, so I experimented and settled on this recipe. It is so easy. You can add green pepper and carrot to the filling to make the dish more nutritious. It is great for kids.In Step 5, make sure to only cook the egg until it is half-cooked. If you cook the egg for too long, it will not fold well around the filling. It is best for the underside to be browned, and the top side to be half-cooked. If you cook it well, it will be OK.
