Ingredients

1 hour (total)
Makes 12-15 paranthas
  1. For spinach dough-
  2. 2 cupswhole wheat flour
  3. as per tasteSalt
  4. as requiredOnion very finely chopped
  5. 1 tspCarom seeds (ajwain)
  6. 1/2 tspAsafoetida
  7. 2 tspOil
  8. 2 cupsfinely chopped spinach leaves properly washed and cut)
  9. as requiredWater to bind a soft dough
  10. For filling-
  11. 1/2 cupgrated processed cheese
  12. 1/2 cupgrated or coarsely minced sweet corn
  13. 1 cupcottage cheese
  14. 2 tbspfinely chopped green coriander
  15. as per tasteSalt
  16. 3-4green chillies finely chopped
  17. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  18. 1 tspChaat masala
  19. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  20. 1/2 cupGhee or oil for cooking paranthas

Steps

1 hour (total)
  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients of dough and bind together to form a soft dough.

    Mix all the ingredients for filling and keep aside.

    Roll a parantha with as much filling as you can handle easily. Don’t over do as it might come out and make it sticky while on hot pan.

    Cook on a hot tawa from both sides spreading ghee and toast till light Golden brown.

    Serve hot with ghee, butter, curd, Green Chutney or achaar as per the taste.
