Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsmilk
  2. 20almonds
  3. 2 pinchessaffron strands
  4. 2 tbspsugar
  5. Few drops of rose essence
  6. 1/2 cuphot water for soaking
  7. 1 tbspthinly sliced almonds for garnishing
  8. A fewsaffron strands for garnishing

    First soak saffron in hot water and keep it aside for 30 mins.

  2. 2

    Now soak the almonds for 20 mins in hot water.

  3. 3

    Soaking in hot water helps in peeling the skin of almonds.

  4. 4

    Now blanch the almonds. Add the almonds to the grinder and add 2-3 tablespoon of milk.

  5. 5

    Grind it until forms smooth mixture.

  6. 6

    Make sure you stir it intermittently to avoid burning and sticking at the bottom.

  7. 7

    Add almond mixture to the milk stirring continuously until mixed well.

  8. 8

    Stir it well. Simmer until milk is reduced to 3/4 amount.
