Fluffy Tea-Flavored Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes since I had a lot of black tea.
The key is to mix after each addition.

I made these cupcakes since I had a lot of black tea.

Take the tea leaves out of the sachet and put them in a heat-resistant bowl. Add milk, and microwave for 15-20 seconds at 500W, then stir.

Bring the margarine to room temperature in advance. Sift the ☆ ingredients together. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.

Put the margarine in a separate bowl and whip until creamy.

Add the sugar and mix well. Add the beaten egg and mix until smooth.

Add the tea leaves from Step 1 and mix.

Add the sifted ☆ ingredients, and mix until the mixture is no longer floury.

Spoon the batter into baking cups. Fill each cup up to 70-80%. (The batter should be runny enough to pour into the cups.)

Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 20 minutes. Poke with a bamboo skewer to check, and they're done if it comes out clean!
