Asian Pear and White Wood Ear Mushroom Dessert

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

White wood ear mushrooms are called yín ěr ("silver ear") in Chinese and are used mostly in desserts. They are also prized as medicinal food for supporting longevity. In China, this sweet, tasty dessert with white wood ear mushrooms and snow pears is popular in the fall season. I used Nijusseki pears and it turned out very delicious.

There's nothing to it. If you like it with a lot of soup, add plenty of water. Recipe by Masako Bishoku
