Steps
- 1
Take a small nonstick pan.
Set a pan on a medium-low heat....
Dry roast the gram flour/chickpea flour for 5 minutes. The flour should give off a nutty aroma.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow the flour cool completely. - 2
Add all the ingredients, chickpea flour and chicken pieces to a large bowl and mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then let it marinade in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours or longer - preferably 24 hours.
- 3
Remove the majority of the marinade before cooking the chicken.
Thread the chicken pieces onto long metal skewers. Place the skewers on a large baking sheet and brush generously with ghee or oil.
Pre Heat the oiled, and grill on high heat and cook the chicken 7-8 minutes - turning and basting twice with ghee/oil, until richly browned and cooked through, completely.
Serve warm with white rice, naan, or by itself.
Enjoy !!! - 4
