I wanted to make this for a friend's child that has allergies.They were quite pleased!

You can also put all the ingredients in a plastic bag and mash them together. When pressing it all together into the log, you want it about the firmness of your earlobe. You don't need to let it chill in the refrigerator before cutting, but if it starts to break apart, you can use a little more milk. Please adjust the baking time according to your oven. Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 70 grams☆Cake flour
  2. 30 grams☆Cornstarch (or katakuriko)
  3. 40 grams☆Hot Cocoa Powder (10g regular cocoa powder + 30 g of sugar)
  4. 30 gramsVegetable oil (or olive oil)
  5. 2 tbspMilk

Steps

    Put the mixing bowl on a kitchen scale, add the ☆ ingredients, and mix well with a whisk.

    Add the vegetable oil and milk and mix with a spatula.

    When it becomes crumbly, cover with plastic wrap and form into a log.

    Make 7 mm slices. Bake at 170℃ for 14-15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!

    They're crumbly when just baked, but if you let them cool, they'll harden to a nice texture. This is a matcha version.
