Cooking Instructions
- 1
For egg soak: In a dish or bowl, add about 1 cup of buttermilk and 1 whole egg. Whisk together then put the catfish to soak
- 2
For the breading: mix all the ingredients listed above in a bowl.
- 3
Dip the catfish in bowl making sure the fillet is completely covered in breading
- 4
Make sure your air fryer is pre-heated to 390. Place 2 fillets in air fryer with parchment paper lining for easy cleaning.
- 5
Air fry to 15 mins total: Stop halfway at 7 minutes to flip, then continue time for remaining 8 minutes. You can spray with cooking spray when you flip it for extra crispy catfish. That’s it! Squeeze more lemon on top of you want 😋

California Farm Air Fryer Sautee Fish Filets California Farm Air Fryer Sautee Fish Filets
Air fryers allow you to sautee fish fresh, and get away from breading fish for baking. Deboned fresh fish filets, sauteed on a thin layer of citrus slices, or, apple, peaches, or onion, no breading crust, it is like cooking a fresh caught fish wrapped in its own juices: petrali sole, a pollock, a trout, a mackerel, a walleye, a salmon, cod, tilapia, you will discover their different amazing flavors instead of eating fish sticks. California Farm Salt Encrusted Fresh Fish Bake Air Fryer California Farm Salt Encrusted Fresh Fish Bake Air Fryer
Melissa Clark just published this recipe last week, and I went to Costco to buy a fresh whole fish to make her salt baked crust fish. Her recipe is for a large whole fish, I got a whole fresh Coho salmon.I used my airfryer oven, trimmed head and tail from the fish so it would fit, set the temperature, salt, ingredient quantities, baking time, and read the temperature probe in the fish every few minutes. It took only 40 minutes. The fish is delicious, tender, fresh, not oily or salty at all. I sterilized the salt crust for reuse with future fish recipes. Hobby Horseman -

California Farm Cold Smoking in Air Fryer California Farm Cold Smoking in Air Fryer
With the danger of wild fires, I don’t smoke overnight in my barbecue anymore in summer, but use my airfryer, it has the perfect low temperature dehydration mode for cold smoking. I cold smoke leftover chicken and turkey and fresh fish, seafood, sausages, pork to make prosciutto, Jerky, beef and canadian bacon. I also cold smoke dried paprika powder, salsa, figs, peaches, mushrooms, and truffled cheese. My other recipes are in cookpad, this recipe is for smoked fresh sausages. All it takes is a metal measuring cup and a handful of hardwood chips. Hobby Horseman -

Fried Fish Fried Fish
This tasty fried fish recipe is made with a basic combination of flour and seasonings, but don't be fooled by the simplicity of this dish—the fillets fry up crispy and delicious. Haddock and cod are two excellent choices for fried fish, but tilapia, pollock, or another mild white fish should work fine. Be careful not to overcook the thin fillets or burn the crispy coating.
