Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people
  • 1 lbsshrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 500 mlwater
  • 44 gramsTamarind mix
  • 1 cupradish, sliced
  • 1 cuptomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cuponions, sliced
  • 2 piecessiling haba (green chili)
  • 1thumb-size ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 400 mlCoconut cream
  • Pinchcayenne powder
  • 1 tbspapple cider vinegar or 1 tbsp of fish sauce for taste

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Put tomatoes, ginger, onions, chili in the pot with water. Heat over medium heat. Add vinegar or fish sauce. Bring to boil.

  2. 2

    Add coconut cream and radish. Stir for about a minute or when the radish is soft.

  3. 3

    Add shrimp and Tamarind mix. Continue to stir until shrimp changes color and cooked through. Check the sauce if it's thickened.

  4. 4

    Season with cayenne powder. Serve hot.
